General info : | | Pascal Chevalier is a French photographer based in Paris.
Pascal Chevallier began his career at the age of 19, with a photo commissioned by Elle magazine - une nature morte de cosmetics, in 1983.
First an architecture and interior photographer for ten years, he contributes in particular to magazines such as World of Interiors, Vogue, Maison et Jardin.
He has fun blurring the lines by mixing genres, shifting the rather compartmentalized codes of the different disciplines, before turning definitively to fashion in the 90s.
But his style remains marked by his taste for photographs conceived as baroque stories staged in the extraordinary settings of distant countries: India, Peru, Kenya, Japan, Australia and for prestigious clients such as Vogue or Vanity Fair.
He divides his time between Paris and Milan. | |
