Brand properties

General info :
Nani Bon was an Italian brand name used during the 1990s by Sima Fashion SpA, a company based in Soliera in the province of Modena specializing in haut de gamme men's knitwear which owned the brands Nani Bon, Fiume, Sèvres and Portobello's and in the 2000s by Fuzzi SpA, a company founded by the Fuzzi-Vitale family, producing mainly men's knitting outerwear.

Sima Fashion SpA was founded in 1960.
Sima's best known brand was certainly Nani Bon, the historic name of 'made in Italy' men's knitwear, distributed in Italy (40%) and abroad (60%), especially France and Germany.
In 2002 Sima Fashion products are distributed through more than 2000 customers in Europe, North America and Asia.

Sima Fashion SpA also had three outlets in Italy (two of which in Serravalle Scrivia) and one outlet in the Netherlands.

In 2002 Fuzzi SpA acquired 100% of Sima Fashion SpA. At that time Sima Fashion SpA employed around 125 people and closed the 2001 financial year with a turnover of 45 million euros.

Fuzzi SpA is a company founded in 1979 by the Fuzzi-Vitale family, producing mainly men's knitting outerwear in quality materials like wool, mohair, alpaca, most of the time blended with polyacrylic and viscose. It also distributes licensed brands.
Since 1983, the knitwear factory Fuzzi SpA has been the licensee for the production and worldwide distribution of both Jean Paul Gaultier Maille - a line of jersey knitwear for men and women, and Jean Paul Gaultier Soleil - a line of swimwear and beachwear for men and women's, as well as (since 1993) some lines of Hugo Boss men's knitwear.
At the time of the takeover Fuzzi SpA employed 160 people and distributed products in over 60 countries serving more than 4,000 customers (exports account for over 90% of total sales). The Company, which in 1993 had turnover of approximately 8 million, closed the 2002 financial year with revenues of approximately 70 million euros.
The production unit in the municipality of Baragiano (Fotenza) has also been operational since September 2002. This unit employs 45 people, covers the complete production cycle of knitwear (weaving, tailoring, treatments, ironing and packing) and will have a production capacity of around 150,000 garments per year when fully operational.

This Nani Bon trademark was subsequently registered in India by Fuzzi SpA and updated in 2006.

The Fuzzi company is or was located Via Al Mare 143, 47842 San Giovanni In Marignano RN, Italy.

The Fuzzi bussiness was founded in 1954 by Adele Bacchiani Fuzzi in San Giovanni in Marignano, near Cattolica in the province of Rimini and was only active in Italy at that time.
In the early 1970s, after graduating, her daughter Anna Maria Fuzzi joined the company, teaming up with her own staff of stylists and entered the foreign market.

In 2003, Fuzzi launched a new Garbino brand, a high-end knitwear line for men, and took over Sima Fashion, the company that owned a number of knitwear brands including Nani Bon, Fiume, Sevres and Portobellos.

As of 2023 there is still a similar company active in San Giovanni In Marignano, named Fuzzi Srl a Socio Unico, but that company only offers women's clothing and the Nani Bon brand name is not mentioned.
