General info :
La Consulta is a city and surrounding area located north of the department of San Carlos in the province of Mendoza, Argentina.
Its population is 8241 inhabitants.

Its main economic source is the wine industry, with several wineries present in both the urban and rural area surrounding the city.

Thanks to its height and its very dry near desert climate, La Consulta grapes are exposed to large thermal amplitudes, which favors the production of one of the best wines of Mendoza.
