It produced dresses, scarfs and tops a.o.
The company was founded in 1896.
Harry Kriesemer (born February 1, 1919 in St. Gallen, Switzerland - died 15 April 1991) was one of the first Swiss people to restore trade between Switzerland and Japan after World War II. Until his death, he ran the textile company "Kriesemer of Switzerland", which produced not only for Switzerland (e.g. uniforms for the then Swissair) but also internationally like for the Bredenberg clothing company in Stockholm, Sweden.
It was one of the first Swiss companies to export St. Gallen embroidery and clothing to Asia and, in addition to St. Gallen, produced in Appenzell, the Rhine Valley and Ticino.
Harry was the son of Walter Kriesemer and his mother Felicie Kriesemer.
