Jean-Jacques Loup (born on July 5, 1936 in Arles, France - died August 1, 2015 in Plessis-Robinson, France (aged 79)) was a French comic book author and caricaturist.
He signed his work with "Loup".
He studied architecture at the National School of Fine Arts in Lyon.

Between the 1970s and 1980s , he worked for various magazines such as Fluide Glacial, Mormoil, Le Trombone Illustré, Playboy, Marie-Claire, and Charlie Mensuel.
He created comic strips and many illustrations for puzzles, and is the author of several graphic novels, including: L'Architecte et la Bétonneuse (The Architect in English) (L'École des loisirs, 1977), Touti Frouti (Audie, 1977), La Bible: au commencement, Dieu (Dargaud, 1984) and La Vie des Maîtres (in 2 parts) (Glénat, 1983 - 1985).
He made jigsaw puzzle images for Heye from the 1970’s up until his death in 2015.
He became a political cartoonist for “Rebuts de press” in the TV show “Droit de réponse” animated by Michel Polac on TF1 French channel.
Jean-Jacques Loup worked in Paris as a cartoonist from 1969 until his death in 2015.
