Gerard Darel is a French women's ready-to-wear brand created by Gérard Gerbi and Danièle Darel, which specializes in leather goods. The Gerard Darel brand was created in 1971.

The Gerard Darel brand has been famous since 2005 thanks to a typical handbag model called 24 heures. It is the flagship model of the brand.

In 2014, the company achieved a turnover of approximately 200 million euros, but had been facing serious financial difficulties for several months. In 2015 the company sought protection against its creditors. The German branch Gerard Darel Deutschland Gmbh was liquidated in 2015.

The HGD Fund of the founding Gerbi family took over the brand in 2015 from the previous owner, the Advent International investment fund. The latter aquired 90% of the brand in 2008.
Four years after leaving the management, the duo made up of Laurent Gerbi (son of the founders) and David Maruani, who in 2011 had joined Gerard Darel's supervisory board, therefore resumed control of the company.
As of 2015 the French brand had 300 stores, half of which were in France, and employed 1,100 people worldwide.

As of 2022 the website is run by The Oz SASU, d.b.a. Gerard Darel & The Oz.
