Franck Provost is the eponymous name of chain of hairdressing salons founded by Franck Provost (born Yvon Provost December 12, 1946 in Lude in the Sarthe, France), a French hairdresser and businessman.

Franck began his career in 1972 as an apprentice at the hairdresser's in Le Lude. Three years later, in 1975, with his professional certificate in hand, he moved to Saint-Germain-en-Laye in the Yvelines, where he opened his first hairdressing salon.

He participated in numerous official hairdressing competitions under the banner of the L'Oréal company. He was crowned best hairdresser in France in 1976 and won one of the events (cut and blow-dry) during his participation in the World Hairdressing Championship in 1977.

He personally styled the hair of Romy Schneider, Brigitte Bardot, Tina Turner, Sharon Stone, Alain Delon and Adriana Karembeu.

The second salon opened in 1979 in Paris, on Avenue Franklin-D.-Roosevelt in the 8th arrondissement. In 1998, he inaugurated his first international salon in the Philippines.

In 1999, Franck Provost opened the "Franck Provost International Hairdressing Academy" which is headquartered at 36 rue Laugier in the 17th arrondissement of Paris. Its aim is to train hairdressing professionals who participate twice a year in an advanced training course.

From the end of 2008, Franck Provost owned more than 2,400 salons in some twenty countries, employing a total of 5,000 people. In 2012, it owned 2,600 salons (400 company-owned, the rest franchised). Turnover was one billion euros, with 65 % of sales generated in France, where the brand included 1,700 hairdressers out of the country's 50,000.
