Marvel Studios is the business name of Marvel Studios LLC, originally known as Marvel Films from 1993 to 1996; an American motion picture studio based at The Walt Disney Studios in Burbank, California.
Since 2015, the studio is a subsidiary of The Walt Disney Studios, itself a wholly owned division of The Walt Disney Company, with film producer Kevin Feige serving as President.

Marvel Studios' films are distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures; Paramount Pictures from 2008 to 2011; Universal Pictures for 2008's The Incredible Hulk; and Sony Pictures for Spider-Man: Homecoming scheduled for release on July 7, 2017.

Marvel Studios has released 13 films since 2008 within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, from Iron Man (2008) to Captain America: Civil War (2016). These films all share continuity with each other.
