Licht & Licht Literary Agency is a brand or business name used by a Danish literary agency company.

The company's roots go back to Kurt E. Michaels Literært Agentur, an agency that was founded in Copenhagen in 1935 by German born Kurt E. Michaels. He specialized in representing German authors and publishers in Scandinavia, but quickly expanded his list to also representing Scandinavian authors worldwide, and British and American publishers and agents as well.

In 1978 Kurt E. Michaels Literært Agentur was bought by Agnes and Ole Licht and continued under the name Michaels & Licht Literary Agency, which later became Licht & Licht Literary Agency. Agnes and Ole Licht focused more on English language publishers and agents.

In 2001 the agency was taken over by Agnes and Ole Licht’s daughter, Trine Licht and Anne Burr, working under the name Licht & Burr Literary Agency. The agency is a leading international rights agency representing major international publishers and agents in Scandinavia, and a select list of Scandinavian authors worldwide. Later the agency came to be owned and run by Trine Licht. Before becoming an agent, Trine Licht was in publishing for 22 years, working at various publishing houses in Denmark as an assistant, an acquiring editor and eventually director, and in New York in foreign rights at Alfred A. Knopf and in agenting and scouting.
