Thomas Peter Heckmann is a German techno DJ and music producer.

He started making music around the age of eleven and recorded his first tracks with a Casio VL-1. At that early age he experimented with styles such as EBM , synth-pop and industrial.

His first commercial release, the single 'Liquid' was released in 1991 under the alias Exit 100 on the Frankfurt label Force Inc.
He also was one of the pioneer producers to release new acid styles in the likeness of UNDERGROUND RESISTANCE and +8 in Germany with his other projects on FORCE INC : AGE and SKYDIVER.
After producing successfully for FORCE INC until 1993 he released new stuff on LABWORKS records in Germany under the name SPECTRAL EMOTIONS and on DJAX-UP-BEATS in Holland as PURPLE PLEJADE.

In 1993 Heckmann founded the label Trope Recordings that saw the releases of his probably most succesful project 'Drax' and in 1994 its sublabel Acid Fuckers Unite (AFU). In 1998 he founded Wavescape and in 2000 its sublabel Sub ~ Wave.

Nearly a 100 records would follow during the next decades.

He resides in Mainz, Germany.
