- Production support of cinematographic works (Film Selection Commission, accreditation)
- Encouragement of co-production between independent producers and television publishers and distributors
- Promotion and distribution: help with the theatrical release, help with the organization of events, help with the promotion of festivals, help with the editing of Belgian films in dvd / Blu -Ray
- Supporting Tax Shelter investments
- Support for audiovisual operators: workshops, festivals, distributors, cinema operators, digital broadcasting structures
- International promotion via WBImages, the promotion in the cultural network via the RACC.
- Participation in international work and action programs such as Eurimages and Media
- The establishment and development of instruments to facilitate international co-production
 
The Centre Du Cinéma Et De L'Audiovisuel is financed by the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, the contribution of distributors (especially cable television companies) and other sources such as the reimbursement of production aids and paid by the service publishers.
