General info :
Barbara Frost (born in South West London, UK) is the wife of the late Frank Tovey (performing as Fad Gadget) and mother of Morgan Tovey-Frost & Joseph Tovey Frost.
She was a frequent artistic partner to Fad Gadget and her crystal-clear vocals float through much of his early recordings (as well as their toddler daughter in subsequent albums).
Barbara Frost also created striking photographic imagery in the vein of Man Ray, Lee Miller and Hans Bellmer. Anton Corbijn would later find a muse in Tovey for some of his early photographic portraits, including an iconic photo of Fad Gadget covered in shaving foam.
She later moved to North West London, UK.
