Ronna Kress (born on December 29, 1959 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA) is a casting director.
She is known for her work on films such as Moulin Rouge! (2001), Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) and The Fault in Our Stars (2014).
Kress began her career working in extras casting in New York on Woody Allen films. She moved to Los Angeles and worked for three years as the associate at Warner Bros. for casting director Marion Dougherty, then worked as the associate for David Rubin, casting with him such films as “Romeo and Juliet,” “The Talented Mr. Ripley” and “Cold Mountain.”
She cast the first films in the “Pirates of Caribbean” and “Fast and Furious” franchises.
In 2016 Ronna has been named executive VP of casting for Twentieth Century Fox Film. She oversees feature casting for 20th Century Fox, Fox 2000 Pictures, Fox Animation, Fox International Productions and Fox Searchlight Pictures.
