General info :
Andrew MacPherson (born in 1960 in London, UK) is an English photographer living in Los Angeles. He was born in London where his mother had a couture dress shop and his father was a race car driver.
He left school at fifteen and started work in a photo production house in Fleet Street.
At twenty-two his first fashion story was published in Harpers & Queen.
Quickly Vogue then started to commission him, first in London, then Paris, and finally for Italian Vogue. He continued to work as a fashion photographer for several more years, splitting his time between London, Paris, New York and Los Angeles, but gradually refocused his energies on the entertainment industry, moving to the city he fell in love with in 1994. Since then he has been based in LA working in the entertainment industry, shooting movie posters, album/CD covers and magazines from all around the world.
