After the 2006 festival, he was laid off, the president of the festival Dominique Bréchoteau reproaching him for having agreed to lead another artistic event, the Biennale of Contemporary Art of Le Havre.

He then became general director of the Biennale d'art contemporain du Havre. In 2010, he is the curator of the exhibition 'BD and architecture' which welcomes 150,000 visitors in six months for this exhibition bringing together more than 300 works and 150 authors.
