Regency Enterprises is a Los Angeles-based entertainment company formed by Arnon Milchan. It was founded in 1982 as Embassy International Pictures[citation needed], but the company name changed to avoid confusion with Norman Lear's Embassy Pictures (known from 1975 to 1982 as Avco Embassy Pictures).
