Jamilah Lemieux (born Chicago, Illinois) is an American columnist, cultural critic, and editor based in Brooklyn, New York.
In 2011, she became the News & Lifestyle Editor for Ebony.com and was promoted to Senior Editor in 2014. In late 2015, she became the Senior Editor for the print magazine.
Prior to Ebony she worked as Writer/Contributing Editor for magazines The Loop, Madame Noire, Essence Magazine, Clutch and The Beautiful Struggler.
In 2007 Jamilah graduated from Howard University where she earned a BFA in Theatre Arts-Acting.

Jamilah has been a frequent guest on MSNBC, Huffington Post Live and Al Jazeera America, and has also done more radio interviews than she can keep up with, including ones with NPR, the BBC and the CBC. She has made multiple appearances on The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore and has appeared on Uncommon Sense on MTV2.

Her father is David Lemieux, a former member of the Black Panther Party who appeared in The Spook Who Sat by the Door.
