General info :
Dan Beleiu (born in Romania) is a photographer.
He was on a very different path, studying computer science, before his pivot to photography. He moved to Berlin and began his masters in photo design while interning at a photography studio on the side. Little by little, through assisting and retouching, Dan paved his path to be able to do what he loves, photograph and direct.

Dan’s aesthetic is inspired by the fine arts, from paintings and sculpture to music and cinema. He approaches many of his shoots wanting to create characters, developing backstories and arcs in order to create images that transcend the page or screen.

In 2019, Dan was chosen to shoot and direct Balmain’s Global Campaign, starring Cara Delevigne, to relaunch the brand’s Monogram which hadn’t changed in 74 years. That same year, he collaborated with Goethe institute on a photography project in Senegal to support and feature Senegalese and African designers internationally.
Over the course of his young career, Dan has worked with numerous publications & brands such as Loewe, Loro Piana, Bvlgari, Balmain, Moncler, Raffles Hotels, Luxottica, and Selfridges, among others.

His editorial clients include Wonderland, Vogue, Interview, ELLE, Harper’s Bazaar, Numero and Grazia, among others.

He resides in Berlin, Germany.
