Benoît Magimel (born 11 May 1974, Paris, France) is a French actor.

He started acting at the age of 13 in 'La Vie Est Un Long Fleuve Tranquille' (1988).
He dropped out of school at the age of 16 to pursue an acting and comedy career.
He would play in many French movies alongside stars like Catherine Deneuve, Daniel Auteuil et Isabelle Huppert.

He was awarded the best actor award in 2001 in Cannes for 'La Pianiste' and a César award for best supporting role in 2016 for 'La Tête Haute'.

In 2011 he acted as voice actor for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

He has a daughter with actress Juliette Binoche - they split in 2003 - and another daughter with actress Nikita Lespinasse.
