Gianmarco Chieregato (born in Rome, Italy) is a fashion and portrait photographer.

Gianmarco Chieregato began photographing for high fashion in the capital. It was Capucci who gave him his assignment, and later came Lancetti, with whom he collaborated for 14 years.
After graduating in architecture, he moved to Milan where he began collaborating with the weekly Gioia, with Bazaar Italia and with Madame Germania.
For 7 years he worked with the LaPerla group, creating the Occhi Verdi, Grigio Perla and Sognando campaigns.
For more than 10 years he has dedicated himself to cinema, making portraits of actors and actresses for the most important sector magazines. This work was collected in an exhibition and in a book - CINEMATOGRAFATI - made with the patronage of the Province of Milan in 2004.
Using the collaboration of personalities from the world of cinema and culture, he has created photographic campaigns in favor of social and humanitarian causes, for Telefono Azzurro, for Tibet, for civil rights, and some calendars, one in favor of the elderly, others in support of the Italian Down People Association, distributed by Italian weeklies of large circulation.
In particular, Giorgio Armani used the photo that portrays him with a girl with Down syndrome for the Christmas greetings campaign around the world, greatly contributing to the cause of the Association.
In 2008 the initiative was repeated with the creation of the Smile Cookbook.
Recently Gianmarco Chieregato supported the Community of Sant'Egidio in promoting the BRAVO project, curating a large retrospective, Fuori dall'ombra, with 250 portraits of famous people he made over the years.
