Danny Elsen (born 1 August, 1950, Brussels, Belgium) is a Belgian director of photography.

In 1998, Elsen was nominated for the 11th European Film Awards Best Cinematography for his work for Yvan Le Moine's "Le Nain Rouge".
In 2005 Elsen was the winner of the Joseph Plateau Prize for Best Cinematography. He received the prize for four films of that year (De Bloedbruiloft / Buitenspel / Vendredi Ou Un Autre Jour / Verlengd weekend).
In 2006 Elsen received the CIFF prize for Best Cinematography for Ellektra from Rudolf Mestdagh at the Cyprus International Film Festival.
In 2012 he was nominated for the Ensor Best Photography/Cinematography (D.O.P.) for his work for Tot Altijd by Nic Balthazar.
In 2013, Elsen was nominated for a Magritte for Best Cinematography for Patrick Ridremont's Dead Man Talking.
