General info :
Voltage Pictures is the brand name of Voltage Pictures, LLC, a Los Angeles-based American film financing, production and distributing company founded by Oscar winner producer Nicolas Chartier.
The company's first financed and produced film was The Hurt Locker, which was nominated for nine Academy Awards and won six.
In January 2014, Dallas Buyers Club, also produced and co-financed by Voltage, was nominated for six Academy Awards including Best Picture, and won three for Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor and Best Make-Up.
Natalie Portman’s directorial debut, A Tale of Love and Darkness was selected as a Cannes 2015 Film Festival special screening.
