She has cast many celebrities in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the Pirates of the Caribbean movie series, Alice in Wonderland, The Full Monty, Sleepy Hollow, and Gandhi. She has worked with Richard Attenborough and Tim Burton.
She is married. They have one child. Figgis now lives in London.
Susie founded her own London based company "Susan Figgis Ltd." in 2008.
