Lothar Schmid (born in Switzerland) is a photographer who has been working since 1975 in beauty, celebrities, portraits, advertising and art photography.
In 1976 he worked in France.
He was a contributor to magazines such as British Vogue, ELLE France, Deutsch Vogue, GQ, Marie Claire, a.o. He photographed stars like stars comme Catherine Deneuve, Sophie Marceau and Emmanuelle Béart and worked for designers such as Dior, Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent.
Lothar is an alumnus from the Zurich University of the Arts.
He resides in Klosters Serneus, Graubünden, Switzerland.
