Arild Fröhlich (born 22 September 1972, in Årdal, Sogn og Fjordaneis, Norway) is a Norwegian film and television director. In 2009, he received the Amanda Prize for Fatso (produced in 2008 and based on Lars Ramslie 's novel). Three years earlier, the Amanda Prize went for the best children's and youth film to Pitbullterje, which he directed after a book by Endre Lund Eriksen.

Fröhlich has directed the children's films Doktor Proctor 's Pumpkin Powder (2014) and Doctor Proctor's Time Bathtub (2015) after the books by Jo Nesbø, the former with Kristoffer Joner and the latter with Gard B. Eidsvold in the role of the doctor.

For television, Arild Fröhlich has directed the comedy Out in our garden (2003), with Harald Eia , Bård Tufte Johansen and Atle Antonsen, and a series of episodes of Absolutely Perfect (2011-2016), with Thomas Giertsen and Ine Jansen in the biggest roles.
