In 2016 Michael Klein Joined MTV As Head Of Programming. He will oversee all original programming across MTV and its related brands.

Michael L. Klein was the executive vice president, programming and content strategy, digital channels for Condé Nast Entertainment Group (CNEG).
There, he oversaw development and production for the company’s portfolio of Millennial-targeted digital channels — including Vogue, Vanity Fair, Glamour, Wired, GQ, and The New Yorker — which drew more than 2.7 billion video views in 2015.

He was previously executive vice president, alternative television for CNEG.

Prior to Condé Nast Entertainment, Mr. Klein was senior vice president for programming and development at Sundance Channel where he launched the largest slate in the network’s history. His projects included Girls Who Like Boys Who Like Boys, All On the Line With Joe Zee and Push Girls.

Previously, he was senior vice president of content for Travel Channel, where he increased audience and set prime-time rating records with original series Man v. Food, Ghost Adventures and the Emmy Award–winning Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations. Earlier in his career, he was vice president of lifestyle programming at Discovery Communications and vice president of program production at TLC, where he was responsible for the hit series Miami Ink, What Not to Wear and Little People, Big World.

For his production achievements, he has been honored with numerous awards and nominations, including a Television Academy Honor and several Emmy nominations.
