Sabine Azéma (born 20 September 1949, Paris, France) is an actress and film director.
In 1974 it was Claude Sainval, director of the Comédie des Champs-Élysées, who gave her her first major role in 'La Valse Des Toréadors', where she played the daughter of the character played by Louis de Funes.
Thanks to this role, the proposals become more numerous and she made her debut on television in 1975, then on the large screen in 1976 in a comedy by Georges Lautner 'On Aura Tout Vu' , alongside Pierre Richard and Jean-Pierre Marielle.

She married director Alain Resnais in 1998, who died on 1 st March 2014.
