General info :
Teak is a brand of cologne launched by Shulton, Inc., a company founded in 1934 by William Lightfoot Schultz and which first offered women's grooming products. Teak was launched in 1965. The scent was spicy-woody and described as "Scandinavian". The production was apparently discontinued. One of Shuldon's best selling fragrances was the Old Spice line for men, introduced in 1938, that quickly became the company's best-known offering and a perpetual best-seller. Shulton introduced an updated version of the fragrance, Old Spice Fresh, in 1988. Proctor & Gamble purchased Old Spice from the Shulton company in 1990 and have updated the logo and packaging. The fragrance is now known as "Old Spice Classic" and is still available as cologne and aftershave lotion. The company was located in Clifton NJ, USA.
