Jeffrey Silver is a film producer who has produced over 30 feature films, topping $4 billion at the worldwide box office.
He is president of Biscayne Pictures.
Recent releases include fairy-tale, Beauty & the Beast, for Disney, directed by Bill Condon, starring Emma Watson, and Ghost in the Shell, for reamworks/Paramount, starring Scarlett Johansson, directed by Rupert Sanders.
Silver is also known for sci-fi actioner, Edge of Tomorrow, for Warner Bros, directed by Doug Liman, starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt; sci-fi fantasy, Tron: Legacy, for Disney, starring Jeff Bridges; the global hit, historic fantasy, 300, for Warners, adapted from the graphic novel by Frank Miller, directed by Zack Snyder; cop-classic, Training Day, for Warners, starring Denzel Washington; and the holiday classics, Disney's The Santa Clause movies, starring Tim Allen.
Silver also produced the hit television series The Wonder Years, for ABC/New World, for which he received an Emmy as Producer for Best Comedy Series.

In 1999, Silver co-founded FilmAid, a non-profit organization, dedicated to bringing movies to Refugee Camps around the world. He also serves on the Advisory Board of the Science and Entertainment Exchange (SEE), a program of the National Academy of Sciences. SEE is focused on educating filmmakers and the public about science through movies.
Silver grew up in Miami, and graduated college with a degree in Theater from Brandeis University in Massachusetts. He began his career working as an assistant to the renowned producer-director, Otto Preminger, in New York City.

Silver's wife, Lienna Silver, is a novelist, his daughter Sasha Silver, is a TV executive at Hulu, and his son, Max Silver, is a film director, and singer-songwriter.

He resides in the Greater Los Angeles Area.
