Yasushi Fujimoto (born ca. 1950 in Japan) is an art director and the head of his own design studio "Cap".
He has worked for many well-known Japanese magazines including Marie Claire Japan, Brutus, Vogue Japan and GQ Japan.
He has also directed advertising projects for such clients as Louis Vuitton Japan and several apparel brands.
In 1996, Fujimoto opened a gallery "Gallery Rocket" for young designers, photographers and illustrators to exhibit their works. The gallery was later renamed to Rocket. Rocket's mission has changed a little since then: in 2011, it expanded its remit to include food as well as art, and it now hosts short-run culinary events alongside the more conventional exhibitions.
