Grace Edquist is a New York–based writer.
In 2022 she was named Deputy to the Global Copy Director at Condé Nast, after serving as Copy Director since 2019 and Senior Digital Line Editor since 2017.
Prior to Condé Nast Grace was an Editor at Wanderlust LLC since 2014.
She started her career as Associate Editor / Web Editor at Madison Magazine in 2012.

She’s written about David Lynch’s surreal paintings, a forgotten founder of Abstract Expressionism, the cartoonist Aline Kominsky-Crumb, a Bauhaus master weaver, and her weird history as an Irish dancer. She is the co-author of a cookbook and, most recently, the co-creator of acrostic-style crossword puzzles.


Grace Edquist is an alumna from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she earned her Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Journalism with honors.

She resides in New York, United States.
