Jonathan Black (born ca 1943) was managing editor of Playboy for sixteen years and before that, executive editor at GQ and editor at United Magazine, the in-flight publication of United Airlines.
In 1986 he has been named managing editor of Playboy magazine and was laid off in 2002 together with 24 other people at the Chicago office after restructuring.
He is a contributor to many national magazines as well as the New York Times.
He lives in Chicago.
