Alexandra "Alex" S. Postman (born ca. 1968) was named Senior Director of Editorial Content at Chantecaille Beauté in 2019 after serving as features director at Condé Nast Traveler since 2015.
After college, she lived in France while editing the Fodor’s Paris guide. She went on to hold roles as Executive Editor of Elle, Editor in Chief of Martha Stewart’s lifestyle-focused Whole Living, Executive editor at Rodale Books and Deputy Editor at Self.
Postman also edited, so far, Jessica Alba’s bestselling The Honest Life (March 2013) and Alicia Silverstone’s The Kind Mama (April 15 2014).
Before Elle and Whole Living, there were stints at Redbook, Conde Nast Sports for Women and Working Woman—she came out of college with a literary focus. At Amherst, where she got her B.A. in English, she focused on poetry and minored in classics.
She resides in the Greater New York City Area.
