Steel was a brand of Schnapps made by Heublein, Inc.
It was launched in 1981 and seems to be discontinued.
Steel Peppermint Schnapps was a liqueur which had a taste somewhat similar to that of a candy cane. Its flavor was similar to Creme de Menthe, but was not as sweet and is generally clear in color.
As of 2023 the Steel trademark is listed as cancelled.
