Wyatt Smith (born November 12, 1974 in New York City, USA) is an American film editor. He was the editor of Thor: The Dark World, Doctor Strange and Into the Woods, 300: Rise of an Empire a.o.
Smith worked at the New York Sony Music Studios when he began his professional development towards film editing in the late 1990s . He was initially involved in a number of music documentaries and music videos until the 2000s.
Wyatt Smith came up through the music business cutting live concerts and music videos. He previously worked with Rob Marshall on the movie musical Nine, his first feature film project as a co-editor. Marshall tapped Smith for that role after working with him on a Tony Bennett special for NBC.
