General info :
David Reeves is a composer of mainly electronic ambient music released during the 1990s.
He also operated under the stage names Otras and Otraslab.
Otraslab is also the name of his recording studio in Canada, or as he puts it "Otraslab is my laptop computer, and what comes out of it".
He had his first synthesizer, a Yamaha CS-15, in 1984 and received no formal training.
He lived in a small village (probably in Canada).
He released three CD's on the Fax label, one on Discreet, Otraslab and Noise Reduction one on Alleysweeper, and a track on the Sabotage "Chill-out" compilation. Otraslab2 was planned to be released on the Alleysweeper label but appareantly that did not happen.
