Anne Slowey was the Fashion News Director at ELLE Magazine for 18 years.
In 2017 she has departed the magazine according to a statement from the brand.
Slowey started at Elle in 1998, and is most well-known for appearing in the short-lived reality tv competition "Stylista," where she terrorized would-be fashion editors. She was also at the center of ire delivered in last year's strange, rambling "Elle on Earth" story delivered by one-time Elle writer Jacques Hyzagi.
She also acted in the movies The Face (2013) and Project Runway (2004).

She resides in the Greater New York City Area.
