Lauren Santo Domingo (born February 28, 1976 as Lauren Davis) is a contributing editor at Vogue since 2005 and the co-founder of online fashion retailer Moda Operandi.
Santo Domingo, the daughter of Ronald V. Davis, the former CEO of The Perrier Group of America, and Judy Davis, an artist, grew up in Greenwich, Connecticut.
She attended the Kent School and graduated from the University of Southern California in 1998.
Considered one of the "100 most influential New Yorker's of the past 25 years" by the New York Observer, Santo Domingo has played muse to designers such as Proenza Schouler, Nina Ricci, and Eddie Borgo.
Lauren has been photographed by Annie Leibovitz, Tom Munro, and Mario Testino for various features and has appeared in Vogue, Vogue Paris, Vogue Spain, W, Vanity Fair, WSJ Magazine, and on the cover of Town & Country. Inducted into Vanity Fair's International Best Dressed List in 2012, she is frequently cited as “one of the world’s most recognized style authorities”, and New York Magazine called her "the next Mrs. Astor".
