Opus Pictures produces and acquires various films. The company is based in Seoul, South Korea.
The company's first film was in 2008, Director YOO Ha's A Frozen Flower, a film o set in the end of the Goryeo dynasty. OPUS Pictures gained much critical and box office success with LEE Jeong-beom's The Man From Nowhere (2010) starring star actor WON Bin and Snowpiercer (2013) directed by Bong Joon-Ho and starring Chris Evans, Song Kang-ho, Tilda Swinton etc.
