General info :
Muziekodroom is the name of a music center in Hasselt, Belgium.
The center focuses on both the active musician and the pop consumer. The range covers the various facets of pop music: instrument lessons, rehearsals, PA rehearsals, club shows, dance parties, alternative mainstream concerts.

The center has three concert halls, the largest of which (capacity of 850 spectators) opened in January 2007

PHL Music started in September 2008 in collaboration with Muziekodroom. This education program is the result of a collaboration between Muziekodroom, Pukkelpop and the local government.

Since 1995 there has been the biennial provincial rock competition Limbomania, interspersed with DJ-Mania. This is a coproduction of Provinciale Jeugddienst Limburg (Provincial Youth Service Limburg) (PJD) with Muziekodroom. Every edition of Limbomania brings 32 bands out of 200 entries in 4 preliminaries, 8 of which advance to a grand finale. Past winners include JFJ, The Galacticos, The Rones and The Killbots.
