Pierre Bourotte (born in 1942) is the owner since 1961 of several wine houses in Bordeaux including Pomerol : Clos du Clocher, Château Bonalgue, Château Monregard La Croix, Château Burgrave, Château Beausejour de Bonalgue / Lalande de Pomerol : Château Les Hauts-Conseillants, Château Les Hautes-Tuileries / Lussac Saint-Emilion : Château du Courlat, Château Les Echevins.

In 1985 he founded GFA Du Château Bonalgue (Groupement Foncier Agricole), a company owning the vineyards of Château Bonalgue.

He is the father of Jean-Baptiste Bourotte, the current owner and manager of Château Bonalgue and the merchant house Jean-Baptiste AUDY.
