Jim Black is an American Music Supervisor.
In 1998 he founded Clearsongs Inc., a full-service music supervision, consulting, and licensing company for Film and Television.
He worked on dozens of critically acclaimed projects including The Wrestler, Black Swan,The Wackness, NBC’s SMASH, and HBO’s Treme and True Detective.
In 1990 Jim graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz where he earned a BA in World History.
