She was married from 1953 to 1967 to film director Blake Edwards (who later married actress Julie Andrews).
She is the mother of actress Jennifer Edwards.
She lived with her daughter in England till Jennifer was 17 and left to Switzerland.
She now resides in Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada.
