General info :
Claude Young Jr. is a producer of techno music, DJ and video artist from Detroit .

He discovered music through his father, co-founder of a radio station (WJLB).
One of Detroit's leading DJs and producers as the '90s closed, Claude Young filtered the more lush elements of Motor City melodicists with the harder, minimalist stream of Robert Hood and Jeff Mills to create productions which lacked for neither emotion nor hard-hitting trance.
He starts producing his first tracks with the support of Kevin Saunderson.
He is also the co-founder of two labels, Frictional Recordings and 7th City, on which he will release many records under different pseudonyms.

In 1995 he moved to London and started an international DJ career. In 2004, he founded with several other artists and his companion Yukiko the label "cynet: media", allowing him both to keep a great independence in production and anables him to mix different electronic styles from various artists.
