General info :

Snowy Red started as a one-man band by Micky Mike (real name Marcel Thiel (born 1957 or 1956 - died 27 May 2009, Brussels, Belgium)). With a few synthesizers, a 12/2 mixing desk and a 2-track reel to reel recorder he created repetitive synth masterpieces in the vein of Suicide and Polyphonic Size.
His music was a kind of analog-synth-based, primitive-drum-machine-heavy, dark, minimalist, cold-wave synth-pop.
Thiel died in a Brussels hospital at the age of 52 after surgical complications from treating ongoing health problems.
He had a daughter Alice Thiel.
