Jenny Capitain is a French-born professional stylist and fashion editor currently based in New York City.
Jenny had her first fashion experience in Berlin working with Claudia Skoda during her studies of Applied Arts at HFBK (Berlin University of the Arts).
She worked with Helmut Newton as a model and muse in the 1970s.
She served on the Fashion department of German Vogue in the early 1980s.
She was the Fashion Editor In Chief of Vogue Paris in the early 1990s and became Fashion Editor of Vogue US.
Capitain moved to the United States to undertake the fashion industry.
She has worked as an official stylist for the Brydge Mackinney agency, where she participates in photo shoots, ad campaigns, and editorial design. She has been part of this agency since 2000.
Among Jenny Capitain’s works are the designs she made for Harper’s Bazaar magazine, with which she worked for her editions in South Korea and the United States. Also, Capitain collaborated for Grazia Italia, Citizens, Saks Fifth Avenue, among other publications.
She served as Freelance Editor and Stylist to Oprah Winfrey in New.
