General info :
Isabelle Bertolotti is a French art historian.
She has been Director of the Musée d'Art Contemporain de Lyon and Artistic Director of the Biennale d'Art Contemporain de Lyon since 2018.

Isabelle Bertolotti studied at the University of Lyon 2 and at the École du Louvre, with a specialization in museology and contemporary art.

Since the end of 2018, she has been the director of the Lyon contemporary art museum as well as the artistic director of the Lyon contemporary art biennial. She was previously responsible for MAC exhibitions since 1995.

Isabelle Bertolotti has since 2008 largely participated in the internationalization of the Rendez-vous exhibition, of which she has been co-director since 2002 by creating iterations in Shanghai in 2008 and 2010, in Cape Town in 2012, in Singapore in 2015, in Beijing in 2017 and in Havana in 2018.
On January 7, 2021, Isabelle Bertolotti was appointed external personality of the Board of Directors of the Université Lumière-Lyon-II.
