David Wasco is a Production designer.
Together with his wife, Set Decorator Sandy Reynolds-Wasco, they have worked on more than 30 films in the past 25 years. The husband-and-wife team has collaborated with some of the most talented filmmakers working today, including Quentin Tarantino, Wes Anderson, David Mamet, and Michael Mann.
Wasco has been nominated for Art Directors Guild’s award for excellence in production design three times, including a nod for his work on Mann’s Collateral.
He first started to work for Quentin Tarantino in 1992 when he got the job to design Reservoir Dogs. David interviewed for the job and he and Quentin immediately clicked.
He continued to work with him, designing Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Kill Bill: Vol. 1 and Vol.2, and Inglourious Basterds.
