Francine Crescent (born ca 1933 - died May 9, 2008, Paris, France (aged 75)) was the editor-in-chief of French Vogue from 1961 to 1984.

Francine Crescent had climbed all the levels within the editorial staff of the magazine before directing it. Simple, elegant, of great modesty, she had made work for Vogue all the great photographers of the time such as Guy Bourdin or Helmut Newton.

In 1980 she meets Massimo Gargia, an Italian event organizer and jet set personality, and the couple gets married in 1991.

She died on May 9 in Paris at the age of 75 following a long illness (Parkinson), her husband Massimo Gargia announced.
