Luis Pastor "Val" Valentin (6 January 1920 Puerto Rico – 24 March 1999 Reno, Nevada, USA) was a recording engineer with six decades of work in the music industry. Much of his work was done for MGM Records and Verve Records. His large discography includes Jazz albums such as Ella and Louis, Night Train, and Getz/Gilberto. He was also involved with the early releases of The Mothers and The Velvet Underground, among others.
